Literacy Link
Client: Literary Department
Problem
The previous Literacy Link publication had not been designed by individuals with formal typography training, which affected readability and overall navigation. The committee needed an updated literary issue that relied solely on typography to improve the reading experience.
Solution
A fully redesigned booklet was created, including a front and back cover, table of contents, primary article, secondary article, and a multi-article spread. With typography serving as the only design element, the focus was placed on hierarchy, spacing, and readability. A serif typeface was selected to support long-form reading while conveying the seriousness and professionalism appropriate for the publication’s content.
